Janet Depathy, Founder

Janet is the owner of Wishbones for Pets, but she is also the owner of Under My Wings, a successful pet sitting business in Plymouth Massachusetts. Because of her passion for birds, she found herself trading pet sitting jobs with friends. Then, in 1994, she decided to turn her passion into her business, and Under My Wings was hatched. Although she began caring for birds, her business expanded to caring for all pets. Janet shares her home (and her heart) with 5 parrots and her two dogs; Blu and Baby.

Therese Kopiwoda, Editorial Director

Therese started her Austin, Texas pet sitting business, LucyGirl Pet Sitting, in 2001 after being laid off from a high tech job. Started primarily because she had a difficult time finding a job, she soon realized being laid off was the best thing that could have happened. In 2003 she combined her high tech skills with her love of pets and launched PetsitUSA, a leading online pet sitter directory. Therese is also a web designer, social media consultant, and doggie mom to Archie and Lydia.

Member Services Coordinator

Our Member Services Coordinator will interact with members and Regional Directors to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.

Regional Directors

Our Regional Directors are pet sitters who are actively participating in Wisbones for Pets in their local areas, but are also available to answer questions other pet sitters may have about the program. Feel free to contact the Regional Director in your area if you have questions.
